|Cross the Clyde to the magical Isle of Arran and visit viking settlements on the remote Kintyre Penninsula.
This journey sets off from the southern tip of the Isle of Bute, crossing the Clyde to land on Arran. From there, we travel around the rugged north coast of Arran underneath the mountain ridge, before crossing the Kilbrannan Sound to land on the remote Kintyre Penninsular to explore Skipness castle. The journey travels back up the Kintyre Penninsular, perhaps via the fishing port of East Loch Tarbert with its seafood restaurants to regain the West Coast of Bute, taking in three nights wild camping.
This journey is ideal for people with some experience, perhaps having completed a Sea Kayak Argyll Perfection Course.
The journey usually takes five days with four overnight camps.
£499 per person.
